Return Policy
At Mathews & Peters, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, eligible items may be returned for a refund in accordance with the guidelines below.
Please review our return conditions and procedures carefully before initiating a return or exchange. Returns that do not meet our policy requirements may not be accepted.
Returning Your Purchase
You may return products to us by mail at your own expense. We strongly recommend sending merchandise via registered post and purchasing insurance from your carrier for the full value of the merchandise. If you choose not to insure the package, you will be responsible for any loss or damage during transit.
We are not liable for returns that lack tracking or delivery confirmation showing that the package was received. Please pack all returns in the original outer box or another sturdy shipping box, using appropriate packing materials to ensure the product arrives in good condition.

Return Conditions
You have 15 days from the date of receipt to return an item. To be eligible, items must be returned unused, in their original packaging, and in a condition suitable for resale.
Please note that personalized and custom pieces are final sale and are not eligible for returns.
Receiving a Refund
A refund will be issued in the method originally used for purchasing all items eligible for return. Please allow 7–10 business days for a return to be processed and posted.
Exchanges
All of our items are carefully hand-inspected by our team to ensure they are free of defects. In the unlikely event that we have missed something, you may exchange your defective product within 30 days of receipt.
Since many of our pieces are one-of-a-kind and may be difficult to replace with an exact match, we will work with you to find a suitable replacement.
Custom jewelry and personalized items are not included in our exchange policy. Gemstones, including diamonds, are not covered by this policy and are sold as-is. Any damages not due to manufacturing defects are not eligible for return or exchange.
Gift Returns
Gift returns without a receipt are eligible for exchanges only. Please return items in their original packaging. Any gift that shows signs of use or wear will not be accepted for exchange.
Order Cancellations and Amendments
We work to process and ship orders within 24–48 hours; therefore, once an order has been placed, we are unable to make modifications or cancellations.
If you need to return an order for any reason, please do so within 15 days following our return policy protocol, and we will issue a refund to your original method of payment.
If you have made a mistake on a personalized or custom piece, please contact us as soon as possible so we can determine if accommodations are possible.
Personalized Items

Custom and Special Order Items
Due to the unique nature of custom and special order items, these products are considered final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Any product that has been built, altered, or customized at your request falls under this category.
At Mathews & Peters, your satisfaction is our priority. While all returns and exchanges must follow the terms outlined in this policy, we are committed to working with you to address any concerns.
